Aviation is a complicated and complex industry. Reports and press releases are packed with acronyms and abbreviations along with technical terms that are difficult to comprehend for the non initiated. The Aviation Dictionary is a one man project as are my other two sites, both aviation related, so have patience with me to get through things in time. Who Writes and Owns The Aviation Dictionary?
My name is Alex Achille, nice to meet you by the way. I am an ex flight attendant with a passion for flight and aviation. I worked as a cabin crew for 3 years in both economy and business class. However, my love and passion for aviation dates much further back.
I started flying as an infant and from the first time I was hooked. I have been traveling to visit family I have spread around the world and just can't get enough of flying and know the ins and outs of aviation. During my time as a cabin crew I also took flying lessons and did my first solo flight. Life took me in a different direction unfortunately and never completed my pilot training. The passion though remained intact and I started writing about latest aviation news and events on my site flightsmilesandpoints.com and later also started a cabin crew focused website cabincrewcentral.com.
My full time occupation is not aviation related though. I am a marketer managing online promotion for clients across the globe. So, that's me, I hope you enjoy my content here and on my other aviation related websites.
